The pioneering singer, 76, demonstrated her unwavering commitment to several causes and concerns during a Saturday concert, including D.C. statehood.

The duo will perform at Songbyrd on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The two-day All Things Go Music Festival brought a 32-act roster of artists spanning pop, rock and folk to Merriweather Post Pavilion.

This month’s must-see shows include Slayyyter at 9:30 Club, Kesha at the Anthem, Sasami at the Black Cat and Noname at the Fillmore Silver Spring.

The indie band will play at the Black Cat on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The artist will perform at Rhizome on Friday, Nov. 3.

Ice Spice and Doja Cat at Capital One Arena; Benny the Butcher at Howard Theatre; Liz Phair at the Anthem.

The metal band, which got its start in Virginia, plays at the Runaway on Thursday, Nov. 16.

The London-born singer-producer’s instrument was as finely tuned on stage as it is on record at the second of two sold-out shows.

Fox will perform at the Howard Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 18.
