The two attorneys had most recently been working in the Phoenix office of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLP, and had previously worked together at Polsinelli PC.

The co-defendants — one from Arizona and one from the Dominican Republic — admitted they falsely claimed to own thousands of song titles and collected royalties meant to be paid to the artists who composed the music by co-opting music videos on YouTube.
