Earlier this year, 100 Gecs opened their Boiler Room set with a sick remix of Basement Jaxx’s eternal banger “Where’s Your Head At.” Today, that remix is being officially released as “Where’s My Head At_,” and it’s available as a 12″ vinyl through XL Recordings in a limited-run of 500 copies — those are available here, though presumably not for very long. Mannequin Pussy’s new album I Got Heaven isn’t out until March, but they’ve already shared two songs from it, the title track and “I Don’t Know You,” both of which made it onto our best songs of the week list when they came out. Today, the band is back with a third single, “Sometimes” — it comes attached to a 2024 North American tour announcement, which they’ll be embarking on with special guests Soul Glo.

The Liverpool rock band the Zutons reunited a few years back and have been playing shows on and off ever since, and they’ve also been working on a new album. Today, they’re officially announcing that album: It’s called The Big Decider and it’ll be out on April 26, as NME notes. It was produced by Nile Rodgers (who the band toured with in 2021) and Ian Brodie, who also produced the band’s 2004 debut. The Big Decider will be the Zutons’ first new album in 16 years.

Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier has announced a new album, Rooting For Love, her first since 2017’s Finding Me Finding You. The first single from it, “New Moon,” came out way back in 2021, though promised news of the album it was attached to did not follow right away. He’ll perform at the Teragram Ballroom every Thursday in March, before heading over to Bowery Ballroom to do the same in April.
