Stellantis has announced tentative agreements with both the UAW and Unifor unions since Saturday. However, members must still ratify the deals.

The largest investments under the deal include $1.5 billion each for Belvidere Assembly in Illinois, a Dodge-Jeep plant in Detroit and a Jeep complex in Ohio.

Fain plans to use record contracts recently won with GM, Ford and Stellantis to assist in the union’s embattled organizing efforts elsewhere.

Details of the deal were released Saturday after local UAW-GM leaders approved the pact, which must still be ratified by the union’s 46,000 members with the automaker.

The new Ram pickup can operate as an EV until the battery dies and an onboard generator — powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine — kicks on to power the vehicle.

President Joe Biden said the deals won by UAW negotiators are “game changers” that set a “new standard” for blue-collar workers.

This marks the second round of salaried buyouts this year for Stellantis and comes weeks after a tentative deal with the UAW covering unionized workers.

Ratification of the deal came under doubt Wednesday morning, after seven of GM’s 11 U.S. assembly plants rejected the pact.

A majority of Ford facilities overwhelmingly approved the deal, which, like those with GM and Stellantis, includes at least 25% wage increases.
